Welcome, wayward scholar, to Scaldipedia<\/strong> \u2014 the free encyclopedia that nobody<\/em> asked for, yet everyone somehow deserves. If you\u2019ve found your way here, it means you\u2019ve either typed \u201cScaldy\u201d into a search bar, confused Wikipedia with a weathered pub noticeboard, or simply followed the faint odour of existential damp. Whatever the route, you are now part of something larger \u2014 or at least wetter<\/em> \u2014 than yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is Scaldipedia?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Scaldipedia is the world\u2019s first para-academic<\/strong>, post-factual<\/strong>, and meta-Scaldological<\/strong> repository of collective confusion. It is a living archive of dubious truths, partially remembered EU directives, regional legends from Offaly to \u00d6rebro, and the entire oral history of the Irish bogman diaspora. Think of it as the Dead Sea Scrolls<\/strong>, but laminated, badly cited, and updated by people on their lunch breaks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unlike traditional encyclopedias, which cling to the delusion of objectivity, Scaldipedia proudly admits its biases:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Every fact on Scaldipedia must be supported by at least one unverifiable source \u2014 ideally your uncle, an RT\u00c9 broadcast from the 1980s, or a misprinted EU white paper.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Neutral Point of Disgrace.<\/strong>
      Unlike Wikipedia\u2019s neutral point of view, we embrace the dignity of error. Scaldipedia recognises that history is written not by the victors, but by the undercaffeinated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. All Knowledge is Local.<\/strong>
      If it didn\u2019t happen within 30km of Limerick Junction or Svampen in \u00d6rebro, it probably didn\u2019t matter. Or worse, it was\u00a0continental<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. The Right to Be Confused.<\/strong>
      Every reader is entitled to a minimum of three contradictory definitions per article. This ensures dialectical enrichment and mild migraines.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
